Your Cart Recovery Employee uses checkout activity to send timely, personal messages through email or WhatsApp. When shoppers reply, Emma answers their questions and helps them pick up where they left off, within your rules.
Example trigger: checkout left unfinished. Your waiting period has passed and the shopper is eligible for follow-up.
Subject: A question about your saree?
Emma · Proactive follow-up
Hi Sarah, any questions about the silk saree you left in your cart? Happy to help before you decide.

Will it arrive before Friday?

What’s your delivery postcode? I can check the delivery information before you order.
Check the store’s delivery information. Never promise an unverified arrival date.
WRITTEN TO START A CONVERSATION
Personal in tone. Useful in the inbox.
A short note about the product they chose. A genuine question. Space to reply. AI-written emails that sound natural and stay relevant to each shopper.
What about the Primary inbox?
Getting seen matters. Inbox delivery depends on your sending setup, authentication, sender reputation and recipient feedback. Natural writing alone does not determine where an email lands.
Primary and Promotions are both inbox categories. GoPrimy cannot promise a particular tab or a higher placement rate without measured evidence.
A checkout left behind. A conversation worth starting.
Each example starts with an abandoned checkout, after your waiting period and eligibility checks. These are sample conversations, not measured recovery results.
Email · Proactive follow-up
A delivery question holds them back

Emma reaches out
Hi Alex, did you have any questions about the tote bag you were looking at?

What size is your laptop? I can compare it with the bag’s listed dimensions.

Hi Priya, is there anything you’d like to check about the item in your cart before ordering?
The shopper replies
“Can I return it if it’s not right?”
Sample AI reply
I can help check the return conditions for this item before you buy.
What happens next

They ask for a discount

The shopper replies
“Can you give me a discount?”
Sample AI reply
Let me check whether there’s an approved offer available for your order.
What happens next
Only use offers allowed by your configured rules. If no offer is approved, do not invent a discount or promise an exception.
02 / HOW EMMA HELPS
From an unfinished checkout to a useful conversation.
Checkout activity starts the process. Emma checks whether a follow-up is appropriate, reaches out and helps when the shopper replies.
Choose when follow-ups happen and how far the sequence goes.
Offers and discounts
Decide what Emma can offer. A discount is never the starting assumption.
Contact eligibility
Use connected channels with the required contact details and permissions.
Human help
Review the conversation and step in when a request needs your judgment.
04 / BEFORE YOU START
A few practical questions.
Does Emma wait for the shopper to message first?
No. An abandoned checkout triggers proactive outreach, subject to your timing rules, contact permissions and channel eligibility. When the shopper replies, Emma continues the conversation using your store information.
Does Emma send the same message to everyone?
Messages can refer to the items left in checkout and the shopper’s replies. Your store information and follow-up rules provide the boundaries for the conversation.
Do I have to offer a discount?
No. A product answer or a clearer explanation of delivery may be all a shopper needs. You decide whether offers are allowed and set their limits.
Can Emma contact every visitor who leaves?
No. Follow-up needs usable contact details and an eligible connected channel. Anonymous browsing alone is not enough to contact someone.
What if Emma cannot answer?
When the information is missing or a request falls outside your rules, the conversation needs your team. You can review the context in your GoPrimy inbox and take over.
Will emails always land in the Primary inbox?
No provider can guarantee Primary inbox placement. Personal writing helps the conversation feel relevant, but the receiving email service decides placement.
