GoPrimy vs Interakt·3 min read
Interakt Manages the Conversation. GoPrimy Decides Whether to Start One.
Interakt isn’t a scrappy startup that clawed its way to relevance, it was built by Jio Haptik, part of Reliance Jio’s ecosystem, and launched already carrying named enterprise customers and Meta Business Partner status. That’s a genuinely different starting position than almost anything else in this category, and it’s worth understanding exactly what that backing buys before comparing it to a narrower tool.
What Institutional Backing Actually Gets You
Interakt is a full WhatsApp and Instagram business messaging platform: shared team inboxes, chatbot building, campaign broadcasts, catalog and payment integration, conversation analytics.
Starter: free, limited features
Growth: $55/mo + taxes
Advanced: $69/mo + taxes
WhatsApp AI Agents add-on: $74.99/mo, Sales / Lead Qualification / Customer Support agent functions
Sales CRM: $2,499/mo, 5 seats
For a merchant running a genuine WhatsApp support and sales operation, live agents, chatbots, broadcast campaigns, this is mature, well-resourced infrastructure. That’s a real strength and it deserves to be treated as one, not waved away.
The Distinction That Actually Matters for Cart Recovery
Here’s the part worth sitting with. Interakt’s AI Agent add-on, by its own description, is a conversational system that operates inside an existing WhatsApp chat , answering inbound questions, qualifying leads, resolving support conversations. It’s genuinely good at that job. But it activates once a conversation already exists.
Cart recovery has a different first job entirely: deciding, with no conversation underway, whether a specific abandoned cart is worth messaging right now, what that message should say, and where it should go. That decision has to happen before any of Interakt’s conversational strengths become relevant. A system that’s excellent at answering an inbound question still needs something upstream deciding whether an outbound recovery message should exist in the first place, and that upstream decision isn’t what Interakt’s AI layer is built to make.
The Channel Gap Behind the Backing
Interakt covers WhatsApp and Instagram. It has no email channel at all, which means any customer who hasn’t opted into WhatsApp, a real regulatory requirement in markets like the UK and India, is unreachable through Interakt for recovery purposes, regardless of how strong its WhatsApp and Instagram tooling is. Institutional backing doesn’t close that gap; it’s architectural, not a resourcing problem more funding would fix.
What GoPrimy Does With That Same Decision
GoPrimy’s Cart Recovery employee is built specifically around the moment a cart is abandoned: it evaluates the cart contents, the customer’s order history, and store context, then decides whether to reach out, what to say, and which channel, email by default, WhatsApp for customers who’ve opted in. That’s a narrower product than Interakt in overall scope, Interakt is a full business-messaging platform; GoPrimy today is cart recovery and win-back specifically, but it covers more of a merchant’s actual customer list for that one job, since it isn’t limited to the subset who’ve opted into a single channel.
GoPrimy doesn’t have Interakt’s backing. It’s currently in a founding-merchant phase, free access for a small cohort in exchange for direct feedback. Jio Haptik and Meta Business Partner status are real advantages GoPrimy doesn’t have at this stage, worth saying plainly rather than pretending the two are evenly matched on pedigree.
Choosing Based on the Job, Not the Résumé
If a full WhatsApp and Instagram operation, support, sales, campaigns, conversational AI, is the actual need, Interakt’s depth is hard to match right now. If the problem is specifically abandoned carts that need a decision made before any conversation exists, across both email and WhatsApp rather than WhatsApp alone, that’s the narrower job GoPrimy is built around: goprimy.com
